I just can't buy the lie that those in power who NEVER cared about the homeless, still don't, would actually care about migrants who are running from something. What are they running from? Blue states post jobs just for them every single year for as long as I've watched state job postings from employment services offices(and they know they take the money home to mexico). I also witnessed layoffs that destroyed communities in America just so we could trade factories to Mexico. Those factories shutting down causing entire communities to get laid off and the jobs went to Mexico. These solutions have been tried already and failed. Americans suffer when they give their entire meal to the stranger who then robs and murders them. Quit being so naive and such a willing victim, that's my answer.
